Hotel Bezděz
Hotel Bezděz lies just under 80 km from Prague at an elevation of 270 m above sea level in the village of Staré Splavy. It is situated almost right on the shore of Lake Máchovo, which is surrounded by pine forests and the gorgeous scenery of Bohemian Paradise. In the vicinity of the hotel there are tennis courts, a sports hall, a bike hire centre, a sandy beach and many other opportunities to spend a family holiday or use your free time during an organised company do or a recreational stay.
The Lake Máchovo area is a much-loved recreational locality with an excellent climate, which is influenced by the numerous fishponds and extensive forests.

Hotel Bezděz has a reception, safes, a restaurant, a day bar with a terrace, a congress hall for 150 people with a large-screen projector suitable for all types of audiovisual projections, 4 saloons for 15 – 50 people, a mini-gym with table tennis, billiards, an indoor swimming pool (18 x 6 m), a sauna. Accommodation starts with rooms equipped with standard facilities and a television, and then there are our large multi-roomed apartments with their own kitchen.
