There are a number of historical monuments close by the hotel, for instance Bezděz Castle, Jestřebí Castle, Old Bernštejn Castle, Houska Castle, Zákupy Chateau, Mnichovo Hradiště Chateau, Lemberk Chateau, Sychrov Chateau, Hrubý Rohozec Chateau Dětenice Chateau, Kokořín Chateau and so on. You can even take a trip to Germany, which is a mere 50 km away.

You can take trips by bike, on foot, by car, by boat, by bus or even by train, which has a stop in Staré Splavy.
